Inspired by some very funny fills to my prompt on Marsh-wiggle courtship (be sure to scroll down), I decided to try something a tad (but only a tad) more serious here.

Ah, the motions of a Wiggle courtship are so dull (and not worth the bother, I suppose) compared to Humans and other creatures!

But it's surprising to see a Wiggle smile at all! And I laughed at how Pondscum (love the name) just resigned himself to the fate of his eldest daughter.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! For wiggles, sharing tobacco and comparing your sweetheart's hair to autumn swamp grass is about as romantic as it gets. I think Puddleglum must have been been corrupted by his human friends.

I had the idea of naming a wiggle character Pondscum a while ago and was pleased to be able to use it. :-)
