Procrastination

I'm starting to procrastinate about the things I was doing in order to procrastinate about the things I was doing in order to procrastinate about the things I was supposed to be doing. How many layers deep will this madness go?

Sympathies! :) I've dithered all week (in between ordinary living!) about posting that good-person-as-main-character exercise that I said I'd do, over on the NFFR site. Though I think I'll have to post it here, not there, because here I can put it behind a cut. Anyway - today! This very morning!

I said "this very morning" but actually I procrastinated until nearly bedtime. :D

Philosophers talk procrastination, which you might have seen.

I suspect that after the third level, things start getting done, if only to avoid paradox.

I find that after a certain point, I loop back around to whatever I was initially avoiding (or at least back to the second layer), and start getting stuff done almost despite myself. But it can take a good five layers of procrastination to get there...
